10:00 a.m.: Breathing Gym
10:30 a.m.: Wind Ensemble Rehearsal
12:15 p.m.: Masterclasses
1:15 p.m.: Wind Ensemble Rehearsal
3:00 p.m.: Leadership Masterclasses

* The week will culminate in a public performance professionally recorded for guests who are unable to attend in person.

We are thrilled to begin accepting registrations for the Seventh Annual Central Massachusetts Summer Music Institute for High School Students featuring Guest Conductor Matthew Marsit, Chair of Instrumental Studies at Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

In partnership with OpporTUNEity, the Worcester Summer Music Institute is a unique musical experience for any high school musician. Rehearsals and Masterclasses are taught by our world-renowned faculty and guests. Past clinicians have included Dr. Andrea Brown, Dr. Thomas Verrier, Dr. Patricia Cornett, Dr. Eric Melley, Rick DeJonge and Harry Waters.

Open to all high school band students (including rising 9th graders, this year’s institute will be held at South High School Community School in Worcester, MA from August 3-7, 2026.

Registration

To register, click on Summer Institute Registration link below. You will be asked to complete the registration form before submitting payment. Individual Registration Fee: $325
