Songwriters Circle

The Songwriters Circle was created to provide ongoing support for people who attended our classes while in detention and now need continued assistance after their release. Our goal is to offer a welcoming and friendly weekly meeting where participants can collaborate on songwriting projects, share creative ideas, build a sense of community, and support each other through their personal recovery and growth journeys. The group emphasizes not only music but also the importance of creating a strong, reliable support system to help adults successfully reenter society, improve their rehabilitation outcomes, and reduce the risk of reoffending, all through the resources and programs offered by OpporTUNEity.

We meet weekly at the following locations:

Wednesdays at Open Sky Community Services on Grove Street, 11AM - 12:30PM.

Wednesdays at the Community Justice Support Center, 12:15-1:45.

Use the form below to sign up. All abilities welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there!
