Songwriters Circle
The Songwriters Circle was established in response to the growing need for post-release assistance for individuals who had taken part in our classes during their time in detention. Directed by Teaching Artists Cinamon Blair, Dan DeCristofaro, and Paul Boisvert, the ensemble convenes weekly to collaborate on songwriting and exchange musical ideas.
Beyond crafting music, the group also prioritizes fostering a supportive community for adults reintegrating into society, aiming to bolster their rehabilitation efforts and lower the chances of reoffending amongst participants engaged in OpporTUNEity initiatives.
We meet every week at the following locations:
Mondays at Open Sky Community Services on Grove Street, 10:00-11:30AM.
Saturdays at Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Center on Pleasant Street, 1:00-2:30PM.
We meet once per month at the following location for a group share:
Sunday at The Village Worcester on King Street, exact date and time TBA.
Use the form below to sign up. All abilities welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!
