Hello, my name is Melissa Martiros.

My curriculum vitae can be found here.

I’m a pianist who uses pedagogy as a platform for community impact and social change. I co-author Inclusive Piano Teaching, a blog sponsored by the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy. In 2013, I founded OpporTUNEity® Music Connections. OpporTUNEity® brings me profound joy. It also calls on me to engage with difficult things.

I’m hopeful that this blog becomes the space I need to process, explore, spread joy, and grapple with these difficult things. I welcome your thoughts and invite your engagement. Feel free to subscribe to my blog, leave a comment, and use the links above to follow me on social media.
